		<description>this is appalling. as an author I get incensed when big stores decide they know what&#039;s best for customers: its always abouts whats best for the shop.

I am a great believer and buyer in, independent stores, where the staff know and love books and if its not on the shelf offer to get it for you. However many are seduced by price and its the staff buyers in big chains who almost seem to be dictating what publishers will or won&#039;t commission as to its saleability ... in the big shops.

come on readers - demand we have a range of requirements in all our reading and that is especially true in travel . each book provides a different voice for different travellers.
